Ambridge School district will celebrate 100 years of football this Friday during the game against Blackhawk. Channel 11's Skylights listed that they will be covering this game.
Don Phillps, Ambridge Head Football Coach, said celebrating 100 years of football is exciting, not a lot of schools can say that. "This is the first conference game of the season and it is generating a lot of excitement"
Prior to the game, the Ambridge Lil' Bridgers will be introduced to the crowd. At halftime, Ambridge School District shared that more than 50 former players will take to the field as 100 years of Ambridge Football.
Celebrating 100 years shows that tradition and sports are important in Ambridge added Coach Phillips.
