Traffic stoppages are expected Wednesday night to Thursday morning on Freedom Road as part of a $3.6 million improvement project, according to PennDOT.
The nighttime stoppages will take place from Connector Street to Route 19 starting at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, through Thursday, Dec. 11 at 6 a.m. because of traffic signal work.

Motorists are asked to use caution and pay attention to police and flaggers controlling the intersection.
PennDOT said the work is part of the Route 19/Freedom Road /Route 228 Intersection improvement project in Cranberry Township.
The $3,629,616 intersection improvement project is being constructed by S. E. T., Inc., and is expected to be completed in December.
