The new regional bishop of the Ukrainian Catholic church will visit Ambridge on Sunday during a service at Saints Peter and Paul Church.
The Most Reverend Bohdan John Danylo, bishop of the Eparchy of Saint Josaphat of Parma, Ohio, will celebrate divine liturgy at 11 a.m. at the parish, 404 Sixth St., Ambridge.

advertisement He will also celebrate a moleben, a service of supplication, at Holy Trinity Church in Carnegie at 3:30 p.m. A social will follow each service. All are invited to attend.

Danylo, 43, who was born in Gizycko, Poland, was installed Nov. 4 and became the youngest bishop in the U.S., taking possession of the longest vacant see in the United States.
