The GFWC Woman's Club of Baden is proud to announce that our nominee Brandy Horchak-Jevsjukova was named General Federation of Women’s Clubs Pennsylvania, Woman of the Year, at the 120th Annual Convention at the Blair County Convention Center Altoona, Pa., on April 29, 2017.
Brandy is a 1995 graduate of Ambridge Area High School. She was an Airman, who served as a Security Force Sergeant and Federal Agent, in the United States Air Force. She, along with her husband “V” own and operate the “Warriors Call Boxing” facility in Harmony Township, PA and she is the Mother of three beautiful children

Brandy has been selected “Woman of the Year” for her outstanding commitment and support to the men and women who have served our country with pride and admiration. As someone who also has had the challenge of dealing with her own PTSD, after several deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, she is now devoting her time to helping disabled veterans and first responders strive daily to recover both mentally and physically from their missions.
Her dedication in providing these men and women the support, counseling and a safe place to readjust back to civilian life is staggering. Creating a program such as “Will of the Warrior” plays a very important part to our community and we are proud to have Warrior Call Boxing in our neighborhood.
Brandy and V’s vision continues to grow as they face their next projects the “The Bunker”, “Heroes Retreat”, and “Fort Soul”.
