Theresa Brewer organized a Special Olympics Unified Sports Bocce game at Ambridge High School on Thursday. Unified Sports teams are made up of people of similar age and ability promoting social inclusion.
Jane Stadnik shared "As a mom, it's like one more step to being included. Inclusion into a community is what we all want for our children."
"It's nice to see that Ambridge stepping up to do that kind of work. Because it's usually a fight for people in general with disabilities to be included " added Stadnik.
Stadnik's son Jacob is 15 years old and participated in the Bocca game with teammates from the Interact Club.
