The competition includes 10 works of art by Ambridge Area High School students.
Artists may encourage friends, family members, and neighbors to vote on the website and on Facebook.
Online voting ends on May 2 and will count for 25 percent of the final score.
The winning work of art--chosen by a panel of local judges and through online voting--will be displayed in the Cannon Tunnel leading to the Capitol for 11 months.
The winner and a guest will be invited to a reception at the Capitol Visitor Center in Washington, D.C. In addition, there is the opportunity for a $3,000 Savannah College of Art and Design Scholarship.
The second-place winner’s art will be displayed in the district office closest to home.
