Nicole Santry wanted to walk for hunger in a fun way, so with some help from her friends and family, she decided to do a Zombie Walk during the 2015 Baden Applefest.
Senior Project Advertisement Santry, an Ambridge senior, organized the walk as her senior project.
Participants had the option to dress like zombies or just wear the event shirt. She awarded Ella Betsch a $100 Visa Gift Card for winning the "Best Looking" Zombie Contest.
All donations and proceeds benefit the "We Care Food Pantry" at the Baden United Methodist Church.
According to Santry, she was able to raise over $1,000.
