It has been six years since the last time Ambridge had fireworks. Marilyn Sheleheda, Ambridge Borough Executive Assistant in conjunction with the Ambridge Volunteer Fire Department and a citizen's committee are bringing back the fireworks to Ambridge.

advertisement “People can expect food booths and live entertainment prior to fireworks and of course fireworks between 18- 22 minutes of regular fireworks, depends on the finale ” shared Sheleheda.
Fireworks are scheduled rain or shine on July 3rd in the Walter Panek Park. The gates will open to the public at 4 p.m. to allow people to come into the park and visit the food booths and entertainment.
Parking will be limited in the park but there will be a shuttle to off site parking available , the location will be announced once approved.
