The store’s creations often incorporate reused, restored and repurposed materials many, of which, can be customized and/or personalized upon request. Coming soon, is the DIYer room with a selection of vintage and unique items for the do-it-yourselfer or for eclectic decorators.
On Saturday, the Moonbeam Jar plans refreshments, entertainment and more.
“We will be offering a store-wide discount along with live music, refreshments, a free kids craft and a raffle," said owner Mary Holleran. " In addition, we will be participating in the Merchant Street Sidewalk Sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. So please come by and show your support.”
Join the celebration
The Dream Machine will perform music from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the free kids craft is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In addition, the Moonbeam Jar is also now offering kids and adult craft classes.
Moonbeam Monday (Kids’ Craft Night), is a monthly activity held from 6-8 p.m. Moonbeam Mondays are open to children of all ages, accompanied by an adult. Activities and details are listed on the Facebook page, which includes the skills needed to complete each project. The cost ranges from $3.50 - $5.
LNO (Ladies’ Night Out) is currently a monthly activity, typically held on Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m.
“We just completed our Easter wreaths. On Thursday, April 16 we will be creating tea towels and cloth napkins using vintage images," she said. "They are a perfect gift for moms and grandmothers as well as for your own kitchen. Seating is limited. If you are interested in attending you should stop in the store or visit our Facebook page to make a deposit and confirm your seat.”
