Escoto expressed his thanks in a Facebook post, "To everyone that came through the door and donated your hard earned money and spent your evening with us, you are proof that Ambridge is a great community that supports the music community right here in our hometown!"

According to organizers the Beat for Life Mixer that was held Saturday night raised $2,307. Patrick Escoto shared that the funds will be split between the band Steel Drum Band and the band boosters earmarked for instruments and supplies for band students.
