Repairs are scheduled to begin today on the northbound Interstate 79 ramp to Route 65 in Glenfield, according to PennDOT.
Crews from Flame On, Inc. and Lone Pine Construction, Inc. will do heat straightening, structural steel repairs and painting on the ramp beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16.

To allow the work to occur, the ramp connecting northbound and southbound Route 65 to southbound I-79 will be closed to traffic until the work is complete. Traffic will be detoured.
The ramp was damaged last week when it was struck by a truck. The ramp has remained closed. Traffic is currently detoured until repairs are complete.

- Continue straight towards Glenfield
- Turn right onto Deer Run Road
- Turn right onto Kilbuck Street
- Follow Kilbuck Street to Route 65

- Take the I-79 North exit to Erie
- Turn right onto Kilbuck Street
- Turn left onto Deer Run Road
- Turn left onto the ramp to southbound I-79
- End detour
From Southbound Route 65
- Take the I-79 Erie/Washington exit
- Continue straight towards I-79 North to Erie
- Turn left onto Kilbuck Street
- Turn left onto Deer Run Road
- Turn left onto the ramp to southbound I-79
