A lockdown at Ambridge Area Junior High School has been lifted after a threat was found written in a bathroom stall.
advertisement Nothing was found during a search and dismissal was about 10 minutes behind schedule, according to school officials.
Administrators received a report that the words “I have a gun” were written on the bathroom stall in the boy’s locker room, according to an email from the district.
"Upon receipt of this information, the junior high school administration notified the school resource officer as well as the Economy Police Department. The junior high school was placed on lock down. The junior high school administration and local authorities are conducting a full investigation into this matter," the email said.
