This Saturday, visitors to Ambridge's historic district will be able to browse the wares of more than 20 craft and artisan vendors for a unique shopping adventure.
The "Antiques, Arts, Crafts and More" street festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 12 on Church Street between 13th and 14th streets, and will feature a variety of hand-crafted items, including wood, quilts, dolls, soapmaking, and antiques. State Rep. Rob Matzie's office is currently partnering with the Boy Scouts of America Laurel Highlands Council and the United Way of Beaver County to collect donations through July 25 for the Scouting for Food Drive. Matzie, D-Ambridge, said he was eager to participate in this annual community-wide effort, which collected more than 300,000 units of food last year, because of the need present in Beaver County.
