Residents of Park Road are split over a plan to move Nationality Days from Merchant Street to their neighborhood, according to a resident's survey. Chad Whitacre, a Park Road resident, volunteered to conduct a survey, which found that half of residents support relocating the festivities to a parking lot owned by St. Mary's Church while the other half who responded are against the move. Shop’n Save is offering a second shuttle bus to assist Ambridge grocery shoppers who need transportation once the Bottom Dollar store closes. Phil Safran, owner of Shop'n Save, said the Duss Avenue store began offering a bus every Saturday once the former Foodland grocery store in Ambridge closed back in 2007. |
